Life Yoga Studio on Magazine Street is a lively studio located on the second floor of a historic building in the heart of Uptown New Orleans. Their mission is to share the benefits of yoga with as many people as possible, with classes that often find advanced yoga practitioners side-by-side with beginners.
As Uptown New Orleans has become inundated with yoga studios over the past decade, Life knew they needed branding that would help them stand out. Their slogan – "Yoga for Everybody" – expressed their desire to create a welcoming, casual atmosphere free from pretension or judgment. Life Yoga has been a space where people from all walks of life, from college students to retirees, could come together around the shared, life-enriching practice of yoga.
Our branding for Life centered around a striking grey and yellow color combo, reflecting the brand's fun and youthful vibe. We strived to express the welcoming nature of the studio with warm, friendly, light-hearted designs.
We wanted to market Life Yoga as a friendly space where all people interested in yoga are welcome.The vibrant yellow color is both inspiring and bold. We developed the slogan “Yoga like a Local” to draw in a locals and put an emphasis on community.
